BRAVE GIRLS announce disbandment

Girl group BRAVE GIRLS announce their disbandment and release their last song "Goodbye" on the same day.


BRAVE GIRLS, whose song "Rollin" rose to fame in 2021 is no longer renewing their contract with agency, Brave Entertainment.  After 7 years, the girls call it quits. 


The hit song Rollin' came out in 2017, but shot at the top of the charts 4 years after and earned it's first music show win.


The song went viral when one user uploaded a video of its live performances for soldiers in South Korea.  In it's fame and the girls guesting in many different shows, they shared the story of their supposed early disbandment as they are not getting as much attention as a kpop girl group when they debuted.  The girls became a symbol of positivism and not giving up on your goal. They became an "icon on hope"

After the hit became viral, they released two more EP's -- Summer Queens in 2021 and Thank You in 2022.

On Feb 16, Brave Entertainment confirmed that the 4 members will no longer be renewing their contract. 
“The exclusive contracts of four of our artists Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna will end today (Feb. 16). Accordingly, the Brave Girls will finish their official activities with the digital single ‘Goodbye’ that will be released today,” - Brave Entertainment
